Why write it down?
Serger notebook image

Keeping a journal of your Serger Projects with photos and the settings you used, will help you when you want to do a similiar procedure months later and you need to setup your serger again to make a project again, or something close to what you made before.

Write down YouTube channel names and videos, Tutorial Sites - anything that helps improve your serging skill. Write down where you bought certain threads or replacement parts.

Make your own Stitch and Tension cards!
Your Brother 1034d User manual comes with a blank settings chart in the back of it as an example or you can use the PDF iconSerger Settings here
You will be so happy you did this - when you look it up and say Ahhhh -  that's how I did it!
